I, oh boy... First, love the little move poke. Those rocks are evil. And those are scrolls next to the small chest arent they? Old, and certainly cared for as best they can be. As much as I might want to know the mysteries of the box, it will have to wait for another day. And thats a vest next to the jug. Very formal looking one that I think we might have seen before too.. hrm, that looks quite suspiciously like the vest we see both with at the start with.. I wonder..
And I have a suspicion, no particular why that her inner monologue after is something she's mentally speaking.
Seeing breen with huh, plaid covering, and those scrolls are maps... A very detailed map at a look we get, not something again often seen. Breen really does seem out of this world, doesn't he?
Twice she goes for inner dialogue, and breen is either hearing, or uncannily on point. (Id be betting on the former.)
The conversation that happens you see more of how he moves to listen in how he sits. And how he goes to look at the 'mention' of talonflame, but we dont get a mention of it before, should be neat to see what that is.
But I love the mirth and humor he has laying down and just talking. It's nice to see him being himself. And how deep it hits for being honestly thanked.
The adorable floomf is beyond adorable, and then oof on how it all hits.
Bravo on one heck of a chapter finale. Questions to look forward to, and so much good bonding.
Hehee I love seeing what details you're pointing at and what you're thinking might be going on :) Though I will say those aren't vests, but that indeed are some maps and a box :) Breen as well is a really fun character to look into and see what might be going through his head, unlike with Eliza where we get to see what's going on in that noggin of hers, for the most part :)

Hey, nothing wrong with the cozy little hut. It doesn't have a proper door, or lights really, but it's small and there's two whole beds that can fit in there no problem! It's all you need to survive.

Haven't read this since you posted the first page, it's taken such I different turn that i expected, considering I had only seen eliza as a human up until that point! really love your inking style, its beautiful. great beats in the fight scenes. I'll try to keep up better with the next chapter, although binging through pages like this is nice as well lol

Lots of interesting things in this first chapter! I'm thinking that Poppy either got reincarnated to a different Pokémon or to a Fletching based on Breen's reaction. And omg the stars in the sky are literally a giant eye looking down, that's isn't absolutely terrifying, nope, not at all!
